Wayfarers Constellations

Systemic Constellations

Systemic Constellations is a powerful practical method for understanding and transforming dynamics, patterns and structures in a system—whether that's a family system, an organization, a financial system, a natural ecosystem, or a bioregion.

When an aspect of a system is excluded or repressed, pathologies arise. Systemic constellations offer a way to connect with the healing possibilities within a system. The process gives voice to the voiceless and makes visible the not-seen, offering space for the not-known.

The method involves representing people, values, ideas, or abstract concepts as figures in a spatial arrangement. The constellation lays out a relational field, and a shared language unfolds. As the constellation proceeds, the forces influencing the system are revealed; possibilities for regeneration emerge; elements realign towards the wellbeing of the whole.

The Knowing Field

The process allows for an embodied presence in the here and now, and a lived experience of other ways of being. Participants access what Dr. Albrecht Mahr called “the knowing field,” an energetic field similar to British biologist Rupert Sheldrake's theory of morphogenetic resonance. The knowing field connects to a variety of human modes of perception—intuitive, emotional, physical, and cognitive—and makes available information that transcends individual limitations.

Communicating with the Beyond-Human: Engaging in Right Relationship with the Earth Community

Humans are part of the greater community of life. Systemic constellations offer a tool for listening to the beyond-human and to the larger story unfolding around us.

About Us

Cherry and Keetu created Wayfarers, a project of Wellspring Commons, as a means to offer constellations as a tool and resource for systemic change. Under Wayfarers, Keetu and Cherry co-facilitate systemic constellations for individuals and groups, for purposes of visioning and strategizing, organizational restructurings, and to explore transitional pathways through the polycrisis, and various aspects relating to bioregional regeneration. Cherry and Keetu studied under Yishai Gaster, founder of the Constellation Path, the Institute for the Study of Systemic Constellations, and Co-founder of ReMind, a constellations-based consulting agency for organizations. https://constellations.org.il/en/yishai-gaster/.

Chez appreciates the constellation process as a means for exploring the transition from one system of value to another. She is interested in the shared language—often a symbolic language— that emerges from a constellation, and the role of narrative in guiding towards an understanding of the human’s place in the greater life community.

Keetu’s work focuses on the transformative potential of embodied experiences, weaving contexts where individuals and groups can explore the underlying dynamics of personal, social, and ecological systems. Embodied experiences have a profound impact on the nervous system, offering a pathway to shift from reactive, stress-driven states to more grounded, present-focused states of being and connectedness to the larger life community. Keetu integrates this approach into her work with Wellspring Commons, recognizing that true systemic change requires an embodied understanding of interconnection, and she uses constellations as a tool to bring about greater clarity, healing, and alignment between humans, land and larger ecological systems.
